Goodman Group Senior Property Manager Jody Stone

Jody Stone from Goodman will enjoy $3,000 of professional development and a ticket to next year’s Property Congress as she was named the Academy Champion at the Innovation & Excellence Awards in Sydney last week.

Every year, the Property Council Academy’s top five scoring students across its seven Industry Diploma categories are celebrated as Academy High Achievers. The Academy Champion is the overall highest scoring student across all the Industry Diploma categories.

As the Academy Champion, Ms Stone will take home $3,000 worth of further professional development with the Academy and a full registration to the 2025 Property Congress.

Ms Stone said she feels extremely humbled by the award.

“It’s such a rewarding personal achievement and an acknowledgement of what’s possible from continued further learning and professional development.

“The program is a great initiative by the Property Council Academy to recognise and encourage talent amongst property industry peers.”

Ms Stone undertook the Property Council Academy’s Industrial & Supply Chain Industry Diploma and she said she enjoyed the format and content.

“It was very interactive, with real-time case studies and market trends presented by current property industry professionals.

“I’d recommend the Diploma to peers who are interested in understanding the fundamentals of industrial property and how supply chains underpin property selection and transactions from conception through to completion.

“To continue developing in my role as a Senior Property Manager I’m interested in exploring topics in a few complementary areas such as asset management, feasibilities and valuation.”

As part of our National Education Partnership with Stockland the High Achievers and Academy Champion are supported by Stockland. You can search all the Academy’s face to face, online or in-house courses at www.propertycouncil.com.au/academy.
