It’s a phrase that’s embedded in our values and rarely a day passes at the Property Council when you won’t hear the words that ‘members are at the heart of all we do’.
So it is with great pride that I can announce that this year marks the biggest membership year in the Property Council’s more than five decades of history.
Having endured such a turbulent few years, perhaps it’s not surprising.
In times of uncertainty and dislocation, membership can be a powerful thing. It unites. It heightens our appreciation for our collective social impact. And critically, it enables human connection.
This new milestone is a tremendous validation of the work and the people of the Property Council, and I would like to thank our members for their continued support.
On another note, it was great to see so many of our members at this week’s Australian Financial Review Property Summit and to participate in some robust discussion around big issues.

At the Property Council, the 2800 industry professionals who form our 131 committees are not just the heart of our organisation – they’re the engine room for driving public debate around those big issues.
So, a final reminder that nominations for our 2023/24 committees close tonight at 7pm AEST, so please nominate yourself if you’re keen.
