There are three things that signal the start of the Christmas season.
The Christmas lights are put up, Mariah Carey sings out in our retail centres, and the Property Council hosts Christmas lunches around the country.
Our members from Hobart to Darwin and Perth to Brisbane have enjoyed (or will enjoy) some of our well-attended lunches.
It is a good chance for the industry to get together and celebrate the successes and the challenges of the year.
But these gatherings are about more than just getting together and enjoying each other’s company. The power of generosity is also on show among the frivolities and fun.
As it stands, we will have over 7,300 people attending Christmas lunches across the country this month, and at two of these events we have already raised $34,000 for Childhood Cancer Association and $55,000 for the Property Industry Foundation.
Having endured such a turbulent few years, go and enjoy our upcoming Christmas lunches and please help us raise money for important charities.
If you haven’t secured your spot yet, most lunches have already sold out. But if you don’t mind some travel, we do still have tickets available in Darwin and the Hunter.
