Now, we have a new Board to steer the ship.Last week, the Property Council elected a new National President: Stockland’s managing director and CEO, Mark Steinert.Mark is a passionate advocate of our industry, which he says “will shape the future of Australia’s cities”.And he now heads a powerful Board of leaders determined to amplify our voice and deliver more for our members.After four years at the helm, our outgoing National President Darren Steinberg leaves the Property Council in outstanding shape. Darren’s hard work and wise counsel have been invaluable as we reposition ourselves to champion a strong property industry.Australians of all walks of life are dependent on our industry for more than shelter from the rain. Our industry creates the prosperity, the jobs and the strong communities we need to thrive. With big debates on tax, infrastructure and planning heating up around the country, the Property Council is taking the lead in telling the industry’s story – and making sure our voice is heard.
