Overview

Developed by industry experts and targeted specifically for retirement villages, this two-day course is an essential program for current or aspiring village managers.

It takes participants through the fundamental elements of village management, including: customer focus, effective communications, working with stakeholders including resident, committees and resident associations, financial management, dispute resolution, integrated care and dealing with dementia or mental health challenges.

The course covers key day-to-day operational tasks and challenges, and provides techniques to manage and move through these for a harmonious, sustainable and successful village. Participants will undertake a short assessment as part of the course.

This course can be taken as a standalone course or as part of the Village Management Industry Diploma.

Format

This one-day course is delivered virtually. Attendees can ask questions, build their network and problem-solve with industry peers.
