Overview
This course gives learners a comprehensive understanding of the day-to-day operations of a property asset. Designed to enhance participant’s technical skills and cover the key aspects of how to best manage a building, boost its performance and understand the many factors involved in building management, the course provides a clear overview of what a facilities management role entails.
Over two days, the program covers topics such as: property as an asset class, sustainability and rating tools, building inspections and services, tenders and procurement, reporting and audit, risk management, compliance and certification, and fire and essential services.
This course forms the first part of the Operations and Facilities Management Industry Diploma and can also be taken as a standalone course.
Format
This two-day course is delivered face-to-face in a classroom environment. Attendees can ask questions, build their network and problem-solve with industry peers.
