Overview
This course will help participants understand the complexities of the Retirement Villages Act and gives a broad overview of the key elements of The Act.
Developed and delivered by industry legal experts Minter Ellison Lawyers, the half-day workshop explores the legal rights and obligations for retirement village residents and operators. Importantly, it takes a state-based approach to ensure local nuances within each state’s retirement living legislation are covered, and is structures chronologically to follow the path of a resident from entry to exit.
The course comprises three short lectures, each followed by interactive sessions where participants workshop real-life scenarios to implement learning.
Format
This program is a half-day (4.5 hour) face-to-face workshop session. Attendees can ask questions, build their network and problem-solve with industry peers.
