This course builds on Industrial and supply chain – Part 1 and gives learners a comprehensive understanding of the thriving industrial and logistics sector (I&L) and associated supply chain.

Format

This course is delivered as a three-day series of face-to-face classroom sessions. Learners can ask questions, build their network and problem-solve with industry peers.

The course is divided into four key areas:

• Supply Chain
– Understand and identify competing objectives in supply chain contexts
– Identify supply chain costs drivers and how this impacts property choice
– Analyse property cost in overall supply chain
– Understand key supply chain trends and learn how to have more engaging conversations with clients

• Transactions and Development
– Understand the process of identifying, purchasing, developing, and constructing an industrial facility
– Analyse financial modelling for a prospective purchase and development

• Asset Management
– Investigate, identify, analyse and implement strategies to improve investment returns for logistic assets

• Leasing
– Identify key stakeholders and definitions of a leasing transaction
– Identify and analyse the main lease types relevant to the industrial sector
– Apply and analyse a heads of agreement for a leasing transaction or negotiation.
