The Hunter and Central Coast Development Corporation (HCCDC) is seeking a new operator to transform a former city railway station into a landmark tourism and hospitality destination.
HCCDC owns and currently operates the one-hectare precinct, and has commenced the process to identify a new operator.
The station’s long-term lease offers prospective operators the opportunity to shape an integral piece of the city’s history, and deliver a venue in a site of rich heritage.
Colliers International Newcastle is marketing the opportunity. The competitive expression of interest process will be followed by a shortlist. Those who make the shortlist will be invited to submit detailed proposals. To request an information memorandum or learn more about the process, contact Peter Macadam at Colliers International.
Expressions of interest close Thursday 2 May.
