Women in Property Diversity Survey
The Property Council of Australia invites all member companies to participate in the inaugural diversity survey.
The purpose of this survey is to establish a base line of gender participation in the WA property industry.
As you may already be aware, the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 requires non-public sector employers with 100 or more employees to submit a report to the Workplace Gender Equality Agency each year. While this data is invaluable for the tracking of diversity trends at a national level, it unfortunately only reflects a limited segment of the market overall.
For this reason, we are seeking your support to help us identify the industry base case in WA so that we can understand how diversified and progressive the WA property industry currently is with respect to gender specific issues.
It is expected that the survey results will facilitate informed discussion around diversity in the industry, establish the facts about existing gaps in the industry and in turn enable positive development of businesses that drive the property industry.
Your organisation’s support is vital and encouraged to accurately determine participation in the WA property industry.
The survey is to be completed by the 22nd of May 2015
We encourage you to speak to your organisation’s Property Council member representative about your organisation’s participation in this survey.
