Water quality protection submission

The Property Council has provided feedback to the Department of Environment and Heritage Protection on the Strengthening the water quality protections of the State Planning Policy discussion paper.

Our submission discusses the value of developing a consistent state-wide approach for stormwater management, based on the proposal to reduce the State Planning Policy (SPP) development threshold from 20m2 to 8m2, recognising that some local governments have introduced development thresholds below that required in the SPP.
