WA MEMBER MOVES AND NEWS
Our members are at the heart of what we do and are fundamental to every aspect of the Property Council. On behalf of all the team at the WA Property Council office, we are delighted to announce and congratulate the following member moves and news.
Commercial leasing company Sheffield Property, confirmed that it had secured the Federal Government as a new 1,130sqm tenant at 45 St Georges Terrace, Perth. The Department of Social Services secured the brand-new fit out with the 7-year deal, providing a solution for their October 1st 2018 lease commencement.
Hendrey CEO Emma Hendry has been selected as a finalist in The CEO Magazine – Australia 2018 Executive of the Year Awards, in the category ‘Building & Construction Executive of the Year’.
Ric Navarro, Global Director, Marketing and Communications at Norman Disney and Young has also been selected as a finalist in The CEO Magazine – Australia 2018 Executive of the Year Awards, in the category ‘Marketing Executive of the Year’.
Mirvac has announced that Allendale Square in Perth has been shortlisted as a finalist at the 2018 National Architecture Awards in the Enduring Architecture category. We will share an update when the winners are announced in Melbourne on November 1st.
Frasers Hospitality Australia’s Fraser Suites Perth has won the AHA National award for “Best Apartment Suite/Accommodation Hotel” 2018.
Georgiou has been selected to build Blackburne’s Marina East Apartment development in Ascot, valued at $36 million.
The Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority’s Yagan Square and Scarborough projects have been nominated for the upcoming PIA WA Awards for Planning Excellence.
The Property Council WA were delighted to hear the following members from Knight Frank were promoted this week: Glen Bougourd – Director, Scott Bailey – Director, Tom Berry – Director, Maria Steams – Associate Director and Sam Hammond – Associate Director.
