Our members are at the heart of what we do and are fundamental to every aspect of the Property Council. On behalf of all the team at the WA Property Council office, we are delighted to announce and congratulate the following member moves and news.

New members

We would like to formally welcome new Associate B Members Clarity Communications to the Property Council of Australia, WA division.

Member news

Vicinity Centres announced their new Chief Operating Officer, Peter Huddle will commence on 1 April 2019. Peter joins the Vicinity team from Unibail-Rodmaco Westfield in the US where he was most recently the COO. As Vicinity Centre’s new COO, Peter will be responsible for leasing, shopping centre management, operations and marketing.

CBRE welcomes Jarrad Grierson who will lead their Perth Industrial & Logistics division as the Head of Industrial & Logistics Perth.

Member achievements

The Property Council congratulates our members, Cannings Purple on the announcement of their team achievements!

Tim Grey Smith and Carina Tan-Van Baren have both been promoted to Associate Directors. Karen Brown from has also been appointed as acting head of the Government Relations team. Karen will combine her existing role as National Director with leading the Government Relations team.

Community and stakeholder engagement specialist Jordin Payne joined the Corporate affairs team while David Mano has been appointed as a consultant in Government Relations.

Members on the move

Karis Vitas joins CBRE as a Property Consultant and Chris Melsom joins the WA Urbis team as Director.

Current Director of Government Relations, Astrid Serventy is leaving Cannings Purple in March for a role in the corporate sector.
