WA MEMBER MOVES AND NEWS

Our members are at the heart of what we do and are fundamental to every aspect of the Property Council. On behalf of all the team at the WA Property Council office, we are delighted to announce and congratulate the following member moves and news.

Property Education Foundation (PEF) placed 19 property undergraduates from Curtin University with industry organisations during the June-July winter break. Companies included: Landcorp, Landgate, Savills, Primewest, Perron Group, Mark Hay Realty and Realmark Commercial. The students reported the experience gave them a better understanding of the industry as they explored the various facets of the industry and identified their career paths.

OP Properties and Brightwater Care Group has signed a contract to deliver an exciting multigenerational lifestyle village on the coast in Iluka. Plans for the site include Odyssey Residences at Beaumaris Beach, a proposed $40million development consisting of 58 private residences to be operated by Brightwater Care Group.

Yolk Property Group has partnered with Power Ledger to implement world-leading blockchain technology at their Evermore development – powered by solar photovoltaics and lithium battery technology – allowing residents of the 24 apartments to buy and sell solar power amongst themselves. This highly sustainable apartment project in White Gum Valley, WA, is the first residential development in the country where residents can trade renewable energy, with the innovative green project paving the way for a future norm of residents generating and sharing renewable energy independent of power companies.

Flexible workspace provider Liberty recently announced collaboration with growth consultancy Atomic Sky and their TechHub incubation services. The partnership enables TechHub to increase its high value events and activities and combine their successful incubator and sector building services with Liberty’s exceptional facilities management and customer service, across their growing portfolio.

Cloud based – Commercial Property Management Software Company, cirrus8 has made Philip Brulez, Equity Director – System Development.

Wood & Grieve Engineers (WGE) Perth, WA has been awarded its eighth Aon Hewitt Best Employer Accreditation, becoming Australia’s longest running accredited Best Employer in the history of the prestigious program.
