0 Women in Property Finale

As the Property Council’s 0 Women in Property program wrapped up for the year, participants took the opportunity to reflect and network at a finale sundowner held at the offices of MinterEllison. Susan Dovey, a program participant in 2018, shared reflections on her career journey and how being a participant in 0 Women in Property had boosted her confidence to be an active contributor to the property industry.

Growing up at Mt Barker in WA’s Great Southern, Susan spoke of the deeply personal journey she has embarked on before and during her career to reach her current role as a Tenant Representative at Knight Frank. Despite overcoming significant personal and family challenges, Susan spoke about the opportunities that had come her way since beginning in the property industry and the up-skilling that came with her participation in the program.

Following Susan’s keynote address, participants in this year’s program got together to network and share stories of their common experiences and lessons learnt having participated in the program this year. We look forward to building on the experiences of this year’s participants so we can strengthen the initiative in future, while also recognising the contribution and talent that women bring to the property sector.
