Valuations underway in Queensland

Queensland’s Valuer-General, Wally Kearnan, has announced that over 30 local government areas (LGAs) representing approximately 87% of the valuation roll will have land values assessed with valuations being issued by 31 March 2022.

The LGAs being assessed include:

  • Brisbane
  • Logan
  • Moreton Bay
  • Ipswich
  • Redland
  • Sunshine Coast
  • Gold Coast
  • Toowoomba
  • Townsville

The selection of LGAs each year is based on a range of factors including timing of last valuation, property market survey and consultation with stakeholders. Land valuations will remain unchanged in LGAs that are not reviewed.

The Property Council has regular engagement with the State Valuation Service and will continue to keep members updated.
