Update: Greater Sydney Commission
The Greater Sydney Commission has announced changes to its Commissioners with new appointments and reappointments following an independent recruitment process. The full Commission membership includes:
- Chief Commissioner, Lucy Turnbull AO
- Deputy Chief Commission, Economic Commission and Chief Coordinator Western City, Geoff Roberts
- Environment Commissioner, Roderick Simpson
- Social Commissioner, Helen O’Loughlin
- North & Eastern City District Commissioner, Dr Deborah Dearing
- South District Commissioner, Morris Iemma
- Central City District Commissioner, Peter Poulet
- Western City District Commission, Elizabeth Dibbs.
This announcement comes as the Commission is shifting its focus to delivering on key projects such as Collaboration Areas, Growth Infrastructure Compacts, and the Western Sydney City Deal. The Commissioners will play a significant part in guiding these projects and helping create tangible, quality outcomes for the people of Greater Sydney.
