UnitingSA Profile
Established in 1919, UnitingSA provides housing, aged care and community services to support people across regional and metropolitan South Australia.
More than 1000 employees and volunteers deliver high quality services to people from diverse backgrounds to realise UnitingSA’s vision of a compassionate, respectful and just community in which all people participate and flourish.
UnitingSA delivers a variety of services along the housing continuum, including homelessness services, community housing, residential aged care and independent living apartments for older South Australians. Our services work together to ensure people can access safe, long-term, affordable housing which suits their changing needs. Wrap-around supports are offered by UnitingSA’s emergency assistance, disability and mental health services to help people address life challenges and reduce barriers to sustaining positive housing outcomes.
Our overall property portfolio has grown significantly over the past 20 years, and includes 5 homes made available for people on low incomes, or those aged over 65 years. We also operate six residential aged care sites and deliver a range of community and corporate services from multiple properties across the state.
As we look to the future, we will continue to expand and adapt our service profile in response to changing community needs.
We are excited to be progressing with the following new developments which are centred on building stronger, safer and more vibrant communities.
