Village Management Industry Diploma

More than 20 village managers and staff from across NSW completed the Village Management Advanced course last month. This course is the third component of the Village Management Industry Diploma, a professional development course developed by the Retirement Living Council and the Property Council Academy.

The Advanced course is a three day program that focuses on developing the skills and knowledge required to manage a modern retirement community.  The Advanced course covers resident customer service, working with resident committees, budget implementation and control, and compliance and administration with the wide range of non-retirement village specific rules and legislation that is required.

Those who attended the course in Sydney reported the most valuable part of the course being the various industry professionals who pass on their wisdom and talk about real life experiences.

The Retirement Living Council would like to congratulate the most recent participants and thank those industry experts for taking the time to educate current and future leaders of our industry.
