Townsville City Plan formally adopted
Townsville City Council formally adopted the Townsville City Plan on 13 October 2014.
The Property Council has been working with Council on the Plan, the first for the amalgamated city, inception of the City Plan Industry Reference Group in 2012.

Critically, in line with the adoption of the new planning scheme, Townsville City Council has become the first local government to commit to the Queensland Government’s Fair Value Infrastructure Charges Schedule. The Property Council’s media release regarding this commitment can be found here.
