If you weren’t in your current role,  what would  you like do and why?

I am a bit of a foodie and love a nice glass of wine, I would love to run a small bar / restaurant

What made you choose your career path?

I have wanted to be an architect since I was in year 8 at 11 years of age – when I beat all the boys in Technical Drawing!  My dad’s side of the family has always been involved in design or construction so I have always been exposed to this industry – I grew a passion for design early on spending time in my grandfather’s timber furniture workshop from a really young age.  I have always loved the fact that architecture is a mix of art and science, and that I get to challenge myself both creatively and pragmatically through the creation of a design and then working out how to build it!
