The Queensland Plan launched

After one of the most extensive consultation periods in the State’s history, the State Government has launched The Queensland Plan (the Plan).

The Plan outlines nine foundation areas; education, community, regions, economy, health and wellbeing, environment, people, infrastructure and governance.

Each foundation area is underpinned by baseline data and supported by goals, success factors and targets.

The Property Council has long advocated for a 30 year strategic plan for Queensland, and are proud to announce that our Executive Director, Kathy Mac Dermott has been invited to join The Queensland Plan Ambassadors Council. It is the Council’s role to monitor community and industry engagement and to provide yearly reports on the Plan’s success.

The Queensland Plan and its targets will remain central to the Property Council’s advocacy priorities, as we strive to ensure our industry is primed to support the evolution of our State.
