Thank you to the Foundation Members

The Retirement Living Code of Conduct signifies a retirement village operators’ commitment to set and maintain high standards in the marketing, selling and operation of retirement communities, including complaints and dispute management procedures.

The Code was developed by retirement living operators, working with residents, and endorsed by the Property Council of Australia and Leading Aged Services Australia.

With 2020 coming to a close, so too is the first year of the Code. Operators that signed up in this first year, showing their commitment to their residents and improving the wider industry will be recognised as Foundation Members. 

Foundation Members are those operators that understand the importance of industry self-regulation in order to maintain best practice. This of course with residents at the core. 

There are the leaders in the industry that recognise that without taking a resident’s experience seriously.

Thank you to those operators who have already given their commitment to older Australians and recognised the importance of having an industry that takes care of its most important people, their residents.
