The Deputy Premier has announced a Temporary Local Planning Instrument (TLPI) for part of Caboolture West, ensuring that any future development aligns with a new structure plan.

This TLPI comes into effect as of today Tuesday 28 September 2021 and will not impact on work already underway in the pilot site – NDP1.

Update on Caboolture West Neighborhood Development Plan No.1 (NDP1)

The Queensland Government has now approved amendments to the Moreton Bay Regional Council’s planning scheme, which provides the planning framework for NDP1.

Council is now required to consider and accept these amendments, which include:

• diversity in housing options across the neighbourhoods
• potential new state government primary school
• network of parks and district level sporting fields
• 70 hectares of green space, including pedestrian and bike paths
• shopping and amenity centre
