Sunshine Coast Airport EIS open for consultationProperty Council members are invited to have their say on the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the Sunshine Coast Airport Expansion project.Sunshine Coast Regional Council has recently released the EIS, which outlines the proposed new runway and associated infrastructure at the existing airport site and its potential environmental impacts. The single EIS covers environmental and aviation airspace management concerns under both State Government and Commonwealth jurisdiction.The project has an expected capital expenditure of $347m.The EIS documents can be found here.
