SUBMISSION UPDATE

The Property Council has provided the following correspondences to Government on Queensland’s Commercial Leasing Regulation, on Queensland’s upcoming Budget and on the Premier’s successful re-election.

Commercial Leasing Submission

The Property Council has provided the Department of Attorney-General with a submission advocating against an extension of Queensland’s Commercial Leasing Regulation beyond 2020. To read the submission, please click here.

Pre-Budget Submission

The Property Council has written to the Queensland Treasurer with the industry’s key considerations in the upcoming State Budget. In the submission, the Property Council welcomes the Government’s election commitment to no new or increased taxes and highlights Build-to-Rent, the Building Acceleration Fund, and CBD recovery as key industry initiatives.
