State’s second city looking to the future

The City of Bunbury has recently lodged the revised draft of Local Planning Scheme No. 8 (LPS8) to comply with the new Planning and Development Regulations 2015.

Given that Bunbury is planned to be the State’s second city to Perth and is one of the only new Schemes under revision, the Department of Planning is using the process as a test case to get it right for the State and other local governments at this early stage of the new regulation’s implementation.
