State of the Union : Event Wrap-Up

 

On Friday 27th October, we held our annual State of the Union. Our panel made up up;

Leader of the Opposition Gary Higgins Terry Mills Member for Blain, Kezia Purick, Member for Goyder and Gerry Wood, Member for Nelson addressed a 120+ crowd.

There was lengthy discussion around the defence growth and the economic state of the NT, there was a large focus on population growth but as we all know, we need a economic driver to get people here. We need to create jobs and a reason for people to want to invest here and to stay here and to call the Territory home. 

 Noonamah Ridge, Barneson Boulevard and the Museum at Myilly Point were also up for debate.
