STATE GOVERNMENT RELEASE DRAFT MARKET-LED PROPOSALS POLICY

The State Government has recently released a draft Market-Led Proposals (MLP) Policy for public comment.

The MLP Policy establishes a single portal for industry and a single consistent and transparent process for parties seeking to approach government with proposals. The Policy will allow government to better harness private sector investment and entrepreneurship to develop projects that benefit Western Australia and create jobs.

The consultation period runs for six weeks, closing on 9 August 2018. A free stakeholder forum will be held on Wednesday 18 July 2018 for interested stakeholders to gain a better understanding of the draft MLP Policy.

The Property Council will be attending the stakeholder forum and lodging a submission on behalf of industry, and we welcome any member comments to inform our work on this.
