Size doesn’t matter on apartments

The current debate on apartment design is limiting our vision for Melbourne’s apartment market, according to the Property Council.

Clever design, flexibility and affordability outcomes are each more important than size.

The Property Council told The Age that the highest design standards in the world are useless if the price of delivering them is affordability.

Our vision for Melbourne’s apartment market is one which caters to a variety of housing needs, including those of students, waiters, young professionals, empty nesters and growing families.

The Property Council looks forward to working closely with the Victorian Government and other key stakeholders on improving Melbourne’s apartment standards.
