Site Tour of Brisbane Quarter

The Property Council facilitated an exclusive tour of one of Brisbane’s most highly anticipated projects- Shayher Group’s Brisbane Quarter development.

Brisbane Quarter, at 300 George Street, is drastically transforming an entire city block. Once completed the development will comprise the country’s first purpose-built W Hotel, 40-storeys of commercial space, 2-storeys of retail, alongside a luxury residential tower.

The site tour, held on Monday 5 February, saw over 100 Property Council attendees receive a briefing from those involved in planning and delivering the precinct, followed by a guided tour of the hotel and commercial facilities that are still under construction.

Ben Slack, Regional Director- Urbis, moderated the briefing session which saw a project overview by Glenn Robinson, Project Director – Multiplex, and a panel discussion with Roxanne Markovina, Director of Sales and Marketing – W Brisbane, Edward Zhang, Design Director – Zenx Architects and Barry Lee, Chairman, Director of Design – DBI Architects.
