Silverstone Developments takes out the 2014 Golf Challenge trophy

This year it wasn’t the Melbourne Cup that signalled the beginning of the Brisbane Christmas period, it was the Property Council’s Golf Challenge.

The sold out event included 36 teams all vying for the coveted trophy, as well as a range of unique prizes for different achievements throughout the day.

As always Property Council members and guest companies sponsored holes around the award-winning Brookwater Golf Course, with activities ranging from the always popular remote control car racing to ‘furthest marshmallow hit’, wine tasting, fastest swing and a range of other events.

But there was also a serious side to the day, and the Silverstone Developments team, consisting of Paul Taylor – Bank of Queensland, Troy Daffy & Luke O’Dwyer – Silverstone Developments and Warwick Wolfe – Colliers International, won overall followed very closely by the team from Tract Consultants.

Between all of our activities 10 prizes and dubious accolades were presented during the end-of-day formalities, and the Property Council would like to congratulate (or commiserate with) those who took home those awards.
