SEQ Airport Updates
Two airports in South East Queensland have asked for feedback in relation to their draft Master Plans.
Brisbane Airport
Brisbane Airport Corporation (BAC) has opened consultation on the Brisbane Airport 2020 Preliminary Draft Master Plan.
The Master Plan will undergo public consultation prior to being submitted to the Commonwealth Minister for Infrastructure and Transport for development approval.
The Draft Master Plan supports the continued growth of Brisbane Airport and includes:
– The airports future forecasts for airlines and passenger growth
– Provisions for development of additional uses of the airport site
– Set out plans for significant future investment in operations, aviation infrastructure, roads and terminals
– An update to the Airport Environment Strategy and Ground Transport Plan
Consultation closes on Wednesday 21 August 2019.

Sunshine Coast Airport
Sunshine Coast Airport has asked for feedback in relation to the Sunshine Coast Airport Draft Master Plan 2040.
The Sunshine Coast Airport Master Plan 2040 incorporates the infrastructure being delivered by Sunshine Coast Council under the Sunshine Coast Airport Expansion Project (SCAEP) including a new 2,4m runway, with an associated 1,300m taxiway and other facility upgrades.
Consultation closes on Friday 9 August 2019.
