Scholarship recipient announced

The Property Council has several universities as members both in Sydney and in regional parts of our State.  Specifically, we collaborate with on programs with the University of Technology and the Western Sydney University to help foster the next generation of property industry leaders.

At our August Business Lunch with Treasurer Perrottet, the Property Council announced the recipient of our 2017 scholarship award in partnership with Western Sydney University

The award – the Property Council of Australia Future Property Leader – recognises the academic achievements, as well as extra-curricular leadership and potential of graduates in the Bachelor of Business and Commerce (Property) from the University.

Alex Farmer was this year’s worthy recipient. Alex is already working with Stockland in Sydney.

There were also two other scholarship finalists; Matthew Cahill and Emily Kaletsis.  Both Matthew and Emily are also working in the property industry, Matthew working with Taylor Byrne in Coffs Harbour and Emily with Charter Hall. Congratulations also goes to Matthew and to Emily.
