Sale of Land (Public Auctions) RegulationsOn 1 October, the Sale of Land (Public Auctions) Regulations 2014 will replace the current Sale of Land Regulations 2005. The new Regulations do not make any substantive changes to the current Regulations and will not affect the way auctioneers conduct public auctions of land. The key changes contained in the new Regulations that are of relevance to auctioneers are changes to Schedule 5, which contains new information that an auctioneer must make available for public inspect before the start of an auction.
