SA Water – Mt Barker Augmentation Charge
SA Water has confirmed the results of its review of the Mt Barker water Augmentation Charge as per the attached.
SA Water advises that this results from application of the new SA Water Augmentation Policy.
Key aspects that were taken into account were:
- Capital cost reduction due to developers agreeing to upsize pipes in their developments;
- Financial modelling includes Net Present Value (NPV) analysis approach;
- Forecast timing of capital expenditure and new allotment creation taken into account;
- Smaller allotment sizes attractn corresponding lower charge, benefitting affordable housing;
