Roma Street transformation takes shape

The future of the Roma St precinct has been announced by the Queensland Government. The finalised scheme for the Roma St Priority Development Area (PDA) includes improved links to the key Olympic venue, Brisbane Live.

With the precinct slated to host a new indoor Olympic arena for swimming and water polo events, it will connect to transport links through the new underground train station being built for Cross River Rail. Two new hectares of publicly accessible open space will be added, as well four new residential buildings, that provide affordable and social housing.
