Retirement Village Managers Morning TeaIrene Mooney, CEO of Myvista Village generously opened the Club House of Myvista Village for a morning tea for retirement village managers on 14th July 2015. It was sponsored by our Retirement Living Partner, Perrott Painting represented by Clay Yarwood and Barry Haydinger. The event was an informal meeting for retirement village managers to network and share information and experiences. Mike Scott of Bushfire Prone provided a presentation on the recent legislative changes of the Bush Fire Act 1954, assisted by Alex Aitken. Some vital information and tips on the types of fencing materials and plants that were fire resistant were well received. The group was taken on a site tour of Myvista Village at the end of the session. The next morning tea is scheduled for 27th October 2015 where information on assisting residents with dementia will be provided.
