Retirement Living breakfast to shine light on sector

With retirement village reforms, changing resident needs and new opportunities on the horizon, what can the WA retirement living sector expect as it prepares to assist government in meeting their seniors housing plans?

An upcoming Property Council WA breakfast will bring together industry leaders, retirement living experts and regulators to hear about these opportunities and the ongoing challenges facing the sector.

Among the topics up for discussion will be the financial considerations and risks that retirement villages face, as well as the perception of the retirement living industry and how it can capitalise on the strong lifestyle and health benefits they bring to residents.

Amidst a changing regulatory landscape, our panel, moderated by Bianca McGoldrick, Partner – Jackson McDonald, will explore some of the issues holding retirement villages back and understand how the current reform journey is progressing.

Our speakers:

Penny Lipscombe – Director, Legislation and Policy, Consumer Protection

Mitesh Ramji – Head of Health and Aged Care, Grant Thornton

Tracy Armson – Director, Faster Horses

ML MacDonald – CEO, Masonic Care WA and National President, Retirement Living Council

Time is running out to book tickets to this breakfast at the Pan Pacific on Tuesday, 10 November.
