Retail’s Night of Nights – 2014 Property Council Retail Awards

More than 200 people from the retail industry came together to recognise retail excellence across categories including presentation, marketing and sustainability at the annual Property Council Retail Awards Ball in Adelaide.

The evening kicked off with the comedic styling’s of Simon Kennedy who quickly warmed the crowd and has us laughing throughout the evening. Our 2014 award winners were spectacular, each of them deserving and many achieving back to back wins.

The Property Council would like to congratulate Burnside Village for winning the Shopping Centre of the Year Gold Award at the Property Council’s Retail Awards Ball, held at the Hilton on Saturday. We would also like to congratulate all the nominees, those who received commendations and those who took home awards for a job well done.

It was a fantastic event that brought together the very best of the retail industry to recognise excellence in South Australia’s retail sector. The standard of competition this year was particularly high, which of course made judging incredibly difficult. It was great to see a large field of strong entrants and I’d like to thank them all for participating.

Sadly this year’s awards marked the final year Kate Knight, life member, will be organizing this cornerstone event in both the retail and Property Council diary. Kate has been an integral part in organizing the Retail awards for many years, her hard work and dedication has created many stunning awards nights and she will be dearly missed from the team. We would like to take this opportunity to once again thank her for being an amazing team member, for all of the long hours, the laughs and the hard work that she put into not only the awards nights but the entire awards process.
