Now in its second year the Property Council of Australia and Rork Reconciliation Event Series went ahead in Brisbane.
Reconciliation is an uncomfortable topic for many Australians, and this was a message delivered clearly by keynote speaker John Paul Janke, Co-Owner of RORK Projects.
John Paul noted that as humans our default position is to resist change, however, it is clear that we must strive for change, as Australia’s default position over the last 2 years has not worked.
This was a sentiment echoed by the panel, Joe Wallace, Managing Director at Multhana Property Services, Bruce Davidson, Chairman of Yalari, and Alex Hanlon, Co-Chair of Reconciliation Queensland.The panel discussed the importance of having a flexible mindset and unburdening yourself of preconceived notions.
A powerful and raw conversation that provided the audience with valuable takeaway learnings that inspire reflection.
