Proposed Ministerial Determination under Retail Leases Act

 A draft Ministerial Determination to exempt overseas listed companies as retail tenants under the Retail Leases Act 2003 has been presented to industry for feedback.

This Determination seeks to correct the anomaly whereby publicly listed corporations on overseas exchanges may be classified as ‘retail premises’ solely on the basis that these exchanges are not members of the World Federation of Exchanges.
