PROPERTY INDUSTRY TO SUPPORT BUSHFIRE VICTIMS

The Property Council announces that members will be able to directly support bushfire recovery efforts by donating, volunteering people and space to help charities and reconstruction agencies.

The Property Council is asking members to support the bushfire reconstruction process through the Business Council of Australia’s BizRebuild, a Community Rebuilding Initiative which is being overseen by former Governor-General Sir Peter Cosgrove.

The initiative is a practical way for the property industry to contribute their skills and expertise to support charities and reconstruction agencies.

Members will also be able to make donations to bushfire reconstruction efforts at our Office Market Report events held across the country on 6 February 2020. In Queensland, the 2020 Office Market Report will be held at the Sofitel Brisbane Central.

Property Council members have shown great generosity to the cause and played a significant role in the assisting bushfire victims. We thank our members for their significant contributions to the bushfire relief efforts.
