Property industry steps up to mentor WA’s future leaders

The Property Council has launched the WA Future Leaders mentoring initiative which pairs the industry’s next generation with today’s leaders.

The 15-week scheme, now in its second year, sees 17 final year university students, or recent graduates, taken under the guidance of a leading property professional.

“The Property Council is committed to championing the next generation of the property industry. The launch of this unique and innovative mentoring initiative allows us to nurture future talent by connecting students with professionals that will champion their career development.

“Our Future Leaders initiative will demonstrate the attractiveness of a career in the property industry, foster talented, ambitious individuals, and ensure the future success of not only the participants, but the industry.

“I strongly believe that our latest mentoring offering will positively promote our great industry and give new talent a launching pad for a successful and worthwhile career.”

“The program is the brainchild of the Property Council’s Future Directions Committee which aims to promote the property industry to the next generation, offer networking opportunities and encouraging businesses to give back,” Mr Iacomella said.

The Future Directions Committee would like to thank the Property Council and Property Education Foundation for supporting the program.
