Property Council welcomes Geelong Authority

The announcement of a Geelong Authority has been welcomed by the Property Council as a major driver of economic development in the region.

The Authority is expected to streamline planning decisions on major projects by providing advice to the Minister for Planning for projects greater than 00sqm. It will also work closely with Places Victoria, which will deliver approved projects on behalf of the Authority.

The Property Council congratulates the State Government on this important initiative and looks forward to working with the Authority as it unlocks new opportunities for growth and business investment in Geelong.
