Property Council’s Women in Property Mentoring Program Back for Third Year
The Property Council is committed to supporting gender diversity within the property industry and we are pleased to be again partnering to with Serendis for the 2017 Women in Property Mentoring program.
Building on the success of this program in place for the last two years, which has involved mentees and mentors from organisations such as LandCorp, Hassell, Access Housing, Bankwest, Frasers Property, Mirvac and CBRE, we are pleased to offer this again to our Property Council of Australia member organisations.
This program not only helps mentees address the professional challenges they face, it also raises awareness on how leaders of this industry, need to help change the culture.
“The mentoring program has been a great experience and support network. I was fortunate to be paired with an inspiring leader who shared invaluable, professional and personal advice.
I would highly recommend the Mentoring program and the focus it provides in career development, networking and promoting gender diversity,” Annie Lee, Project Design Manager, Scentre Group.
“The programme forces mentors to guide mentees without the intimate perspective of being in the business, and as a result focuses discussions around principles, viewpoints, reflections and observations associated with supporting growth in mentees confidence, which is a unique experience to the conventional mentoring that occurs inside a business,” Tony Perrin, General Manager, Residential WA, Frasers Property said.
