Property Council Launches State Election Advocacy Agenda
The Property Council WA has unveiled its advocacy agenda for the 2017 State Election at our annual member cocktails event.
The event, hosted by advocacy partner Lendlease, was an opportunity to reflect on the achievements of the last 12 months while turning to the critical election in March.
Our Election agenda, dubbed Keep WA Growing, focuses on five overarching themes, and subsequent initiatives, aimed at kick-starting reforms needed to broaden the economy, create jobs and grow strong communities.
These five themes are:
- Providing housing choice for all West Australians
- Simpler taxes to support housing affordability, investment and growth
- Growing strong communities through good planning
- Linking infrastructure with where West Australians live and work
- Keep WA growing by cutting red tape
