Property Council Celebrates WA Architecture Industry Award WinnersSix Property Council members have been recognised at the prestigious Australian Institute of Architects WA Architecture Industry Awards held last Friday at Crown Perth. Howlett and Bailey Woodland were the recipients of two awards on the night; in the category for Public Architecture they received the Architecture Award for their Carnarvon Police and Justice Complex. Additionally, the company was awarded the Richard Roach Jewell Enduring Award, now in its second year, for projects which have remained important in a contemporary context, for their work on the Perth Concert Hall. Parry and Rosenthal Architects received the Hillson Beasley Award for Educational Architecture for their project, Mother Teresa Catholic College. Similarly in the category for Educational Architecture, JCY Architects & Urban received the Architecture Award for their project, Ngoolark Student Services at ECU Joondalup. In the category of Urban Design the Buchan Group – Perth were awarded The John Septimus Roe Award for Urban Design for their project the Cloisters Redevelopment. The Architecture Award for Interior Architecture was awarded to Hames Sharley for The University of Western Australia Guild Student Central Hub.
