Premier’s Sustainability Awards 2014 winnersOn 2 October, winners of the Premier’s Sustainability Awards 2014 were announced at the Peninsula at Docklands.The awards celebrate the contribution made by businesses, institutions, communities and individuals to Victoria’s sustainability and liveability. The recipients were selected from among 27 finalists across nine categories. This year the top honour, Premier’s Recognition Award, went to the Port Phillip EcoCentre for Life Support for the Bay, an action research project that draws attention to the ecological impact of pollution and littering on catchments and the Bay.
