Piecing Together the Property Puzzle
The Queensland Future Directions’ latest initiative takes a modern approach to professional development, using podcasts as a medium to have honest conversations around success, and overcoming challenges.
Launched on Tuesday 7 August, The Property Puzzle’s first season focuses on the success and challenges faced by industry leaders.
The project was driven by Sara Cecchi, Project Implementation Manager for SHAPE Australia and member of the Future Directions Committee.
“We explore the traditional measures of success from people who have achieved them and find out whether they are still relevant today. We have honest conversations about the hard road taken in careers in property, how these have strengthened our guests and shaped their careers.”
The series will resonate with people who are interested in hearing the stories of industry leaders and those looking for personal development tips, Sara explained.
In line with the Future Directions’ core objective, this project is aimed at young property professionals in their career formative years and hopes to provide valuable information for professional development.
“The Queensland Future Directions Committee were exploring alternative means of connecting with our audiencePutting ourselves in the shoes of busy young property professionals, we realised that we needed to provide something that added value quickly and could be accessed on demand.”
“A podcast series meets all the needs of a young professional and allows them to engage in specific topics on demand.” The series is available on the Property Council’s website and available to download from iTunes.
